Federal Court Nixes Petition on Pa Realignment
A three judge federal court in Scranton Va denied a petition by five taxpayers to block Pennsylvania from enacting reapportionment bills. The court ruled it cannot halt legislation under consideration and left open the possibility to test constitutionality after enactment. Petitioners include Dr Ira W Drew J Claude Bowen John B McCrea Irving Kaufman and Mrs John McCosky.
