Beavers Seek High Hopes In Final Section I Campaign
Corry Beavers basketball under Jim Gruca eye a breakthrough season in 1976-77 as they move to the Erie County League next year. The 11-11 mark last season and a long non winning stretch set a tone, but Gruca aims for a playoff berth in Class AA. The squad fields a guard-heavy backcourt with Miller Frisina and Crage, plus Muckinhaupt Christensen and Frisina inside, as Corry travels to Saegertown to open the campaign against the 0-2 Panthers.
