Rock festival idea eyed to aid drug rehab program
Harrisburg AP reports that private rehab center medical director Dr. Donald J. Ottenberg says Woodstock style festivals could aid rehabilitation by improving communication with addicts. At a Pennsylvania Crime Mobilization Conference workshop, he noted peace amid rain and few arrests at Woodstock while stressing honest dialogue. Allen Bray, a Philadelphia ex-addict, urged human understanding and shared how acceptance helps prevent relapse. Bray spoke from Gaudenzia House, a center run by former users.

In Honolulu, Mr and Mrs Glenn Cox celebrate Ginger the mongrel mothering a first litter. The first pup arrived at 9 30 a m and by 5 p m there were sixteen. Mrs Cox says Ginger is a very good mother and notes she has consumed a gallon of milk.

Court Rules Finders K eepers Niagara Falls Case Outcome
Niagara Falls New York Sanborn contractor Edward Hurley won a seven year court fight to claim a $4990 find after the Court of Appeals affirmed an appellate division ruling that the money belongs to him. The cash, watermarked and faded, was found November 15, 1962 in a cabinet in a Moraca home. The Moracas claimed no knowledge of it.

Stock, 50, sued after a June 13 1967 crash in front of Gorge terminal Niagara Falls New York claiming a herniated disc left him unable to work as a Canada Coach Lines bus driver. The Buffalo Supreme Court jury awarded Stock 70000 and his wife 15000 for loss of consortium ending a two week trial before Justice Arthur J Cosgrove.
