Harrisburg Aug. 27 United Press reports the Pauahin county court sustained Attorney General Charles J. Margiotti's ruling that a voter may cast a ballot for only one candidate in the state supreme court race at the September 17 primaries. The decision sides with Margiotti against Judge M. A. Musmanino of Allegheny county common pleas, who seeks to appear on both major party tickets. The suit argued Margiotti's primary ruling was unconstitutional.

Cyclonic Winds Sweep City Amid Severe Storm
A violent storm with tornadic winds and heavy rain struck the city this afternoon around two o'clock. Trees were felled and limbs snapped, but overall property damage remained light. Health census to hire five thousand white collar relief workers

Corry High Graduate Dies of Diphtheria
Miss Reth Maie Waite, eighteen, daughter of Mr and Mrs Philip M Waite, died at 119 East Frederick Street at 6 30 this morning from diphtheria. A 1935 Corry High School graduate and Seton Hill College bound student, she was active academically and socially. She had fallen ill Friday and was treated by Dr James Hickman. death is reported as sudden and shocking to family and friends. She was born in Buffalo, lived in Corry since 1927, and was a member of the M M sorority. Survived by her parents and one sibling.

New York Aug 27 Five men aboard the American yacht La Bahama were rescued in mid ocean by an Italian Rex steamship's lifeboat crew after abandoning ship in a leaking condition. The captain reported the yacht belonged to Welsh of Philadelphia and was 16 tons. Names of the rescued were not released.
