Hoosier Club Signups Near Full At Local Store

Twenty two women joined the Hoosier Club when the store closed last night and one more enrolled this morning. The club, run by Hoosier Co, usually caps at 19 members but permission was secured to accept 25 due to strong demand. Members pay $1 to join and $1 weekly thereafter. delivery of the cabinet is immediate.

Reunion of Cobb Jewell and Family Held at Spring Creek

The ninth hour edition of the Cobb and Jewell reunion met at William Jawal’s home in Spring Creek on August 17 with about fifty relatives. A lunch and program followed. officers were elected, and the next reunion is planned for August 1913 at Richard Jewell’s home in Corry. Also includes old-time notes about rosin, soap, and dyeing products.
