Toll charges on Bradford Mount Jewett and Kane Mount Jewett would be eliminated.
City officials investigate an incident in Conneaut Ohio where a widow and a painter used American flags as drop cloths while painting the woman's house. Police confiscated the flags after neighbor complaints. The flags, about 35 years old and faded, were not painted on and the widow supplied the painter, a World War II veteran. The couple’s identities were not released. the widow’s husband was a World War I veteran.

He backs restrained Viet Nam escalation while opposing concessions that could empower Communists or deny Saigon territory.
A rear end collision on North Center street yesterday afternoon damaged three vehicles but caused no injuries. Lynn Thomas, 17, of Corry lost sight and hit Donna Stutzman, 29, as she slowed to turn into Quality Cash supermarket. Stutzman’s car struck Harold T. Murry’s parked car from Fort Myers, Florida, who is visiting. Damage totals: Thomas $300, Stutzman $25, Murry $150.
