A 21 year old mother Hazel Prence Burns and her two sons Frederick Allen age 4 and Thomas Lee age 3 perished when a frame home on Wattsburg road south of Erie burned after she ran back inside to save them. Her husband Marsden Burns 28 suffered burns rescuing a third child Robert 6 who had smoke inhalation. Firemen said defective wiring started the blaze.

WARSAW Poland AP Mrs Hedy Wisniewski of Pittsburgh reunites with her 70 year old mother Mrs Aleksandra Kuyek who gave her up for dead after World War I. Wisniewski was taken from Wilno in 1943 and placed in a German work camp then married an American soldier and moved to the United States. They traveled to Europe this year and located relatives for a reunion at Szczecin 400 miles northwest of Warsaw. Space Twins Rest Moscow AP Soviet space twins Andrian Nikolayev and Pavel Popovich frolicked and rested with families in Moscow woods before a news conference Tuesday.
A six year old girl from Corry, Ruth Raymond, is in fair condition at Corry Memorial Hospital after being knocked down by a tractor backing up on her father Harold Raymond’s farm. She suffered a thigh laceration, shock, and possible spinal injury while standing behind the tractor as it moved.
Police Chief Harley Drake and Assistant County District Attorney Frank McKnight found no apparent grounds to charge Rex Grinand of Mead Avenue after a collision last Monday evening that killed Miss Flor ane Williams.
