Youth hero rescues drowning baby in spring near Oil City
In Clarion County on August 12 11 year old Boh Shivey used presence of mind to save his infant sibling after the child nearly drowned in a spring. He pulled the baby from the water and performed rescue efforts for about 30 minutes until the child revived. The incident began when the boy slipped away from two sisters and a brother on the front porch while the rest played.

The seventeenth annual Mixer family reunion gathered Sunday at Cana dohta Lake with about fifty attendees. A 4 pm dinner preceded a business meeting that retained the same officers for another year.
