The state obtained a consent order in Washington County Court prohibiting Cliff Heath Ford Co. from rolling back odometers on used cars. The dealer did not admit guilt. The action followed a Charleroi man’s purchase of a car reported by the odometer as 10 miles but believed driven about 13 000 miles. The buyer paid 3400 dollars and faced repairs after purchase.
