Erie County authorities seek to identify a man found washed ashore on Lake Erie in Springfield Township near Camp Fitch YMCA. Officials of the Pennsylvania State Grange finalized plans for the annual convention to be held in Mercer County Oct 25-28 the first time in 103 years the meeting comes to Mercer County which has 17 subordinate Granges with 1 500 members and 14 junior Granges with 250 members Mercer County Pomona Grange will host with Robert Steese of Grove City as chairman The state Grange counts 32 000 members and focuses on farm and rural interests.
