Meadville Crawford County Judge Herbert A Mook vacated the sentences of four Titusville men after five days in jail for trafficking in lottery tickets. The men, Harvey B Angell Edward Foley John P Richardson and Owen D Wright, were granted release with fines paid and a ban on further lottery activity. Espigh of Meadville remains jailed in Pittsburgh for six months to a year.

Quintuplets death case shocks family and city
The fading mystery surrounds the death of Emilie Diligenti one of the Buenos Aires quintuplets. Marie and Emilie were briefly separated after leaving a Quebec City cloister before reuniting at a Waterloo home.
