Kidnap Case Security Tightens in Chowchilla Court Appearance
CHOWCHILLA Calif AP security ringed the town for arraignment of Frederick Woods and James Schoenfeld both 24 on 43 felony counts of kidnapping and robbery. Richard Schoenfeld 22 sought bail reduction as the trio held $1 million bail each. Citizens heard of a mass abduction July 15 by families from south of San Francisco.
