Sewer Authority to be organized here

A proposed city sewer authority project aims at a $400,000 cost with a $250,000 federal grant and $150,000 city funding. Locations near East Smith and Scotts streets are favored for the disposal plant, with pumping stations planned to avoid plant pumping. Council members see federal aid as pivotal and consider contributing about $100 to form the authority, which could be dissolved if terms fail.
