Seek Hit and Run Driver In Fatal Crash
Police seek a hit and run driver in a crash that fatally injured Walter F. Coleman Jr. at West Latke Road near Algerts Riding Academy after his car crossed into a tree. Witness William Brookhouser, employed by Gem City, described an eastbound car swerving and clipping the returning westbound vehicle. A warrant for involuntary manslaughter was served on Phoman Lovewell, manager of Gem City Supply, for the death of Virginia Mae Patterson. Coroner's jury found a truck driven by Lovewell fatally injured the girl when he fell asleep. Bond set at 1500 dollars for Lovewell. preliminary hearing May 11.

He planned to collect 10 000 on a falsely identified corpse cremated in a Blair county shack October 10 1982 linked to accomplices.
