Voice Of The People: Taxes Strangle Corry Business
The Editor argues high taxes drive inflation and hurt buying power in Corry. Reducing city taxes by even one dollar per capita could boost spending, while Pennsylvania's four per cent sales tax reduces purchasing power. Merchants pay taxes twice and every tax dollar limits business opportunities. leaders should push tax relief to boost commerce.
