Fire devastates Johnsonburg three buildings destroyed
A $100,000 fire swept Johnsonburg destroying three buildings on Center Street in the business district. The Ralph Pranco building housed a pool hall on the first floor and a residence above. adjacent Meehan Grocery and storage were gutted. DeCarlo Estate’s Ladies Bazaar on the first floor suffered heavy damage. Mrs Des Neylon, visiting relatives, returned to Buffalo as flames raced through the block.
