Penn Central Names Officials Who Gained In Firm's Losses

In a civil complaint filed in US District Court, Penn Central accuses two former financial officers and a former Wall Street adviser of secretly manipulating resources for personal gain, creating Penphil in 1962 and driving the railroad toward bankruptcy with losses. A two car crash in Dunkirk at 6 50 p m killed William W Allen 58 of Celeron formerly of Corry and injured four others including passengers Ralph Bahmier 45 Jamestown and Leroy Pierce 37 Frewsburg. Allen passed a stop sign and was hit broadside by the Begier vehicle.
