Nab Area Man For Selling Beer Illegally
A Sparta area man was arraigned in Little Cooley on selling a malt beverage without a license. James Caldwell, 52, of Spartansburg RD 4, reportedly sold beer to a PLCB agent who later located him. He was released on his own recognizance pending further action. Gardwell was later picked up on a PLCB warrant.

Area Woman Hospitalized After Collision
A Clymer woman Sally M. Watrous 26 and her 2 year old daughter Jennifer were injured in a Route 6 collision three miles west of the borough. Watrous was driving a pickup stopped in traffic when a car driven by Bradley R. Quereveld 18 struck the Middleton truck ahead, pushing vehicles. Damages were listed at 1500 to the Quereveld auto 400 to the Middleton truck and 200 to the Watrous vehicle. Both Watrous and her daughter were hospitalized for minor injuries.
