Paul Schmidt Recalls Early Coronado Country Club Days

Coronado Rotary Club members and guests toured the Silver Gate station in San Diego under chairman Paul Corriere. The 67 attendees traveled by bus from the Coronado Theatre for lunch and a film before guided inspections of the plant, joined by A. E. Holloway, Qvice president and Coronado resident. The facility, a 4 million dollar plant completed in 1941, was part of a 6 million dollar expansion.

Former Resident Joins Servisoft in Coronado
William Guerin, a former Coronado resident, returns to become sales representative for Servisoft Soft Water Service. He sees demand as 80 percent of Southern California homes may adopt the service.
