Funeral services will be held in Chicago this week for Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Jackson 81 a Coronado resident for eight years who died at her home 321 Seventh Street last Friday. Survivors include four daughters Mrs Laura J Austin Coronado Mrs Mabel J Blessley Santa Barbara Miss Amy Jackson of Chicago and Mrs Edith J Phelps River Forest a son John S Jackson Michigan 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at Cypress View Mausoleum San Diego for Adele Watkins Pyle former Coronado resident who died Tuesday in a Lemon Grove rest home after an extended illness. She was born in Newark New Jersey and moved to Coronado in 1920 from Buenos Aires where her husband Halbert B Watkins served in the U S diplomatic service. She later worked as social secretary in Hollywood for Spring Byington and wrote theatrical columns for The Coronado Compass. She earlier lived on a ranch in Sonoma County Valley of the Moon. Surviving are daughter Jacqueline A Watkins of Berkeley two sons Philip C Watkins at UC Santa Barbara and Richard H Watkins of Coronado and two granddaughters Patricia Anne and Diana Lee Watkins of Coronado.
