First All Camellia Show slated Sunday in San Diego
E W Miller of Coronado, president of the San Diego Camellia Society, announces the first All Camellia Show Sunday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall 4061 Fairmount Ave San Diego. Awards go to best single flower in six forms container plants grafted plants and eight arrangements classes. Open to all non-members and commercial growers are not eligible. A 25 cent admission helps cover expenses.

The Coronado Elementary Junior High offers Old Time and Folk Dancing as part of regular instruction. Classes begin in lower grades within Physical Education and progress to the 7th and 8th grades with social ease and rhythm. The activity period runs four days weekly and the group hosts an Old Time Dance on the second Saturday monthly to showcase skills.
