Tangled Piano Case In Court
In Justice Hull's office this morning a dispute over a piano on installment from Dora M. Thorpe of Riverside led to a March 23 hearing. F W Troupe found the piano in a former rental home and gave it to Mr and Mrs Stanley Parker awaiting the owner’s claim. Thorpe sued the Parkers for recovery.

Birthday Surprise for Miss Mary Fraser
About twenty ladies honored Miss Mary Fraser with a Monday afternoon surprise at her Upward Street home for her birthday. Refreshments included sandwiches nuts cake and tea. Five Hundred Club Hosts St Patrick Evening
Mr and Mrs F H Ott entertained the newly organized five hundred club at their East Boulevard home. Guests included Mr and Mrs Andrew Veach substituting for absent hosts. Miss Bernice Martin won top ladies prize and Mr Andrew Veach took first gentleman’s prize. Mrs Veach and Robin Strain won consolation prizes in a close race. refreshments featured cake green icing green fruit salad and green fruit ambrosia.

Exhibition of High School Drawings Opens March 25 1910
Freehand and mechanical drawing have been added to the high school course in the last three years under Miss Gilbert and Miss Lord.
