A Corona society event in Glass Hall featured a St Patrick themed party with green shamrock decor and H W C emblems. The Kruemer Orchestra led the grand march Lohengrin and guests danced to Love's Dream Waltz while moonlight like effects lit the room.
A list of grammar school pupils who achieved perfect attendance through February is presented. Names are grouped by Grade I room and Grade I room Z with many students listed from Velma Feiring to Florence King and others.
Riverside and Arlington business leaders push for a county fair association to unite agricultural and commercial interests. A touring committee will seek county representatives to form a countywide organization and study fair ground sites, with emphasis on educating rural communities and elevating stock and farm product quality.
Julian A. Keeler asks to be appointed administrator of the Maude Stevens Keeler estate valued at 1500 dollars with Corona property. H K Stahl represents the petitioner.
In Justice Hull's office this morning a dispute over a piano on installment from Dora M. Thorpe of Riverside led to a March 23 hearing. F W Troupe found the piano in a former rental home and gave it to Mr and Mrs Stanley Parker awaiting the owner’s claim. Thorpe sued the Parkers for recovery.
About twenty ladies honored Miss Mary Fraser with a Monday afternoon surprise at her Upward Street home for her birthday. Refreshments included sandwiches nuts cake and tea. In the evening she was invited to Mrs Rose Wilkins home for a business meeting and was surprised again by the J O C girls of the Conpreparational church. Miss Fraser received several handsome presents.
Mr and Mrs F H Ott entertained the newly organized five hundred club at their East Boulevard home. Guests included Mr and Mrs Andrew Veach substituting for absent hosts. Miss Bernice Martin won top ladies prize and Mr Andrew Veach took first gentleman’s prize. Mrs Veach and Robin Strain won consolation prizes in a close race. refreshments featured cake green icing green fruit salad and green fruit ambrosia.
The Baptist church posts a full day of activities with Bible school at 9 30 a m preaching at 10 45 a m and 7 30 p m junior and senior BYPU sessions in the afternoon and evening pastor titles sermons Morning Here and Hereafter Evening An Ever Present Duty with special music all day and an open invitation to friends.
Palm Sunday service at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church featured a full vested choir with soloist A. R. Dickinson and organ pieces by Faure, Gounod, and others. The program included processions, offertories, and recessional items led by Rev. Geo. Fley with performance by Belmont and Ashford organists.

Freehand and mechanical drawing have been added to the high school course in the last three years under Miss Gilbert and Miss Lord. An exhibition of the pupils’ work will be held Friday afternoon at the high school building with music and refreshments. The public is invited to inspect the industrial work and encourage more activity in this area. Signed W A Doron principal.
The body was shipped to Indiana for interment on Wednesday evening. Accompanying it was Geo E Snidecor, a family friend who had stayed with the family in recent weeks.
