The revival crowds grow as Evangelists Jones and Burch hold nightly sessions at the Rink with sermons on The Gospel Invitation. A men’s meeting brought several hundred attendees, who applauded the speaker. further sermons urged seeing Jesus to obtain deliverance from sin.
City officials await City Attorney J Perry Wood returning from Washington to handle a suit by Edison Electric Co to force Pasadena to abandon its municipal lighting plant. The case, set for argument in superior court, was dismissed at plaintiff's request. Wood telegrammed the mayor and suggested the company feared pursuing the case.
The article argues against the belief that a full literary education is mandatory before business or civil service training. Benj Price told license payment of $15 was erroneous. overcharges to be refunded. Meeting adjourned to March 23 at 8.
J. M. Browning sold his stock of kodaks, films, and accessories to A. W. Bates. The goods were moved last Saturday to Bates's place of business. Bates plans to keep a full Eastman Kodak line, encouraging local purchasing.

The masquerade evening by How ard's Dancing Academy at the Masonic Hall drew a very pleasant crowd with many costumes and lively dancing. Judges awarded Miss Florence Strange the ladies prize and Ray Pearson the best sustained male character as Browning's orchestra provided excellent music.
Mr and Mrs Thomas Brown of Houston UL arrived in Corona on Monday for a month long visit with Dr Brown. The two gentlemen are brothers. This is Mr Brown s first trip to Corona and California and he is much pleased with what he has seen. He is a prominent cattle dealer from Illinois.
