The Corona pressed brick and terra cotta company operates a 400 by 80 foot plant with 10 kilns, 60 employees, and a 5000 dollar monthly payroll. It ships 25 to 30 loaded cars weekly and uses nine clays from Elsinore Findley and Lord beds. The main office is in Corona with a Los Angeles branch, led by M. W. Findley and Eake Generene among others.

City Trustees Hold Adjourned Meeting With Protests
The Coro na city trustees met in adjourned session with Tuthill Collier Smith Holmes and La Gaye present. They granted I T Burton permission to build a 25 by 50 foot brick structure behind the Corona National Bank and to place grade stakes on Sixth street at his expense. J H Moore was allowed to move a building to lot 14 block 113. Residents protested saloon privileges and hour extensions. Ordinance 128 for Rimpau avenue grade passed second reading. Ordinance 129 to extend saloon hours failed 3 to 2. The railroad failed to install required three electric bell alarms at crossings. Carl Miller was refused a lunch wagon permit due to location details. The board emphasized operations require owner permission. The discussion touched on Salvation Army privileges.
