New Christian Church Rises At Main And Nintl Streets
A picturesque new Christian church is under construction at Main and Nintl streets. Architect L Kroonen designed the 6000 dollar building with a 40 by 40 foot auditorium, modern pews, stained glass windows, and a tower. A temporary addition will provide robes rooms. organ and baptistry planned, mission style walls and pebble ash finish. The project is by day work under A T Hoffman and C Ford, with many local carpenters donating work.

The city then known as South Riverside began organizing a Christian Church with a meeting on October 25 1892 attended by ten people seven church members. The gathering in the R B Taylor building on Main Street had minimal seating just planks on boxes and one lamp with a song service performed from memory under the Evangelizing Board of the Christian church of Southern California.

Hamner finished a 12month well 204 feet deep on his May Siding ranch and installs a 40 hp Fairbanks Morse engine with a Byron Jackson pump to supply water for a 200 acre alfalfa tract. Gray reports booming business at Main Street Stables
Mr Gray has secured a long term lease on the Main Street Stables and reports a surge in business. He has expanded stock of horses, harness and vehicles but cannot meet demand with sixteen single turnouts booked last Sunday and ten more inquiries. A new bus will arrive from Santa Ana this week. A drunken hobo who had been causing trouble on Main street below Sixth was arrested last Saturday by Deputy Marshal Henry Huntington and arraigned before Justice Cummins. He was sentenced to seven days on the chain gang.

Runaway Team Smashes Window and Wrecks Wagon in Corona
A runaway team owned by Nagle and led by J. T. Jenkins dashed through Corona on Monday afternoon injuring Mrs. Jenkins and her child while smashing a plate glass window at the Electric Theater. Jenkins was dragged and then saved by a bystander. the team then struck a tree and a restaurant, causing extensive damage and minor injuries to bystanders. Insurance covers the window damage of about $75. The incident prompted reviews of animal control and road safety in the town.

West End Social Club members plan a 30 by 60 foot one story frame country club house costing 500 to 600 dollars with 200 subscribed. The hall will serve social events and Sunday school meetings for residents north west of town and funds have been raised on both sides of the Hesanta Waa river. A site is proposed on the Mado Bonfoey ranch three miles northwest of Corona with surrounding supporters in Prado and Hesanta Waa area contributing.
