Ex-Sheriff Wilson Killed By Switch Engine In Little Rock
Faulkner county ex sheriff James Bartley Wilson died when struck by a switch engine opposite the Arkansas Cotton Oil Mills in North Little Rock about 2 a m. He lived near Vilonia, age about 50, and had a long career including a Populist sheriff term. The death date and circumstances are based on local accounts and notes from the Arkansas Democrat.
