Death of Mrs Krautter in Connersville
Christina Krautter, wife of the late John Krautter, died at her home in Connersville May 21 after nine weeks of illness. Born in Württemberg Germany in 1841, she came to Indianapolis in 1869 and moved to Connersville in 1876 where she lived until her death. She left a large family, many of whom reside nearby. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the residence with Rev Elfeldt officiating, interment at City Cemetery.

The Indiana Odd Fellows' Home was dedicated on Wednesday May 16. A four story French Gothic building costing 30000 sits on sixty acres one mile from Greensburg. Matron is Mrs Mary Lewis of Indianapolis. five inmates have been admitted since March. Rebekah Lodges statewide furnished the elegant interiors and the dedication parade was led by General Bodine with Daughters of Rebekah Grand Lodge and others. Grand Sire Pinkerton delivered the address.
