West Concord residents note Rev. John H. Payne has arrived at Fort Dix to begin basic infantry training with the 47th Infantry Regiment. His eight weeks cover general subjects and weapons training including rifle and machine guns, plus field tactics and bivouac experiences.

Peter Witherell won the election for senior class president at Concord High School. He is the son of Sergt. and Mrs. Marshall J. Witherell of 14 Central Street, West Concord. Nashoba Road couple Mr and Mrs Harry E Tuttle observed the 51st anniversary of their marriage yesterday. They wed in Concord and have lived here since. Chief Tuttle has led the local firefighters for about 30 years.

Concord Community Chest Seeks 1951 Fund Raise Increase

The Concord Community Chest sets a 1951 goal of about six percent above last year's 62 000 target.
