Cambridge Court Officer Appointed From Reformatory
Charlies 8. Robinson, after six years as a Massachusetts Reformatory official, resigns to become Court Officer in the Middlesex County Superior Court at Cambridge. Four new court peers are appointed with Justices approval. Robinson enjoyed broad support from county leaders and town citizens amid a field of about 490 candidates.

Concord marks 288th anniversary with flags and events
The Town of Concord commemorated its 288th anniversary on Sept 12 with flag displays. The Concord Antiquarian Society held tea and a reception at the Chapter House on Lexington Road. The annual election was postponed due to officers and members being away. A World War Memorial dedication on the common was postponed due to bronze casting issues and will likely be held next Patriots Day.
