Golden Wedding in West Concord Honors Knowltons
Mr and Mrs Jesse F Knowlton celebrated their fiftieth anniversary at home on Commonwealth Ave West Concord. The Ladies Union of the West Concord Universalist Church hosted an afternoon party with an anniversary cake and a gold purse for the bride. They were wed October 27 1881 in Lowell by Rev Bicknell and later lived in Chelsea and Peabody before moving to West Concord about ten years ago. Mr Knowlton is a builder and their family includes Frank W Knowlton Hazel K Morton and Dr John C Knowlton with seven grandchildren. The Enterprise offers warm congratulations.
