Hiram E Young bought the Great Road estate, plans a stable and wagon house, and will improve the colonial house over an acre in a convenient neighborhood. Lount Magri and the countess, once General Tom Thumb’s wife, stayed with the Bedfford House hosts F B Bartlett, charming audiences with decades of public interest.
The Parent-Teacher association at Bedford Union school held a meeting on October 20. Miss Caroline Putnam Webber advised nourishing meals for children focusing on milk eggs and bread with limited meat and desserts. She urged varied cereals hot drinks simple night meals and careful lunch preparation including freshly packaged items and inexpensive wraps.
