The Harvest sale and dinner of the Unitarian Society attracted a large gathering with 250 dinner tickets sold at noon. The first class Harvest dinner pleased attendees. Booths offered ferns and flowers, aprons, candy and braided rugs. Net totals will be announced later.

Pay Tribute to Couple on Anniversary
Maynard honored couple Mr. and Mrs. William H. Gutteridge as they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their Brooks Street home. The afternoon and evening gatherings drew old friends, neighbors, and townspeople who sent many tributes, cards, and gifts, including a gold token from a neighbor delegation. Their sons George H. Gutteridge of Maynard and Clarence Gutteridge of Lawrence assisted. The couple, married October 21, 1874, in Vassalboro, Me., have lived in Maynard for 61 years.
