The headquarters of the Enterprise will hereafter be at the store of C. H. Persons Riverside block. Items of news advertisements or subscriptions may be left there and will be promptly attended to.
Local notices report an auction of the Mossman lot house and barn on Saturday. St Perkins and Riv erside Hall announce a concert on Oct 21. A fatal house burning incident at Stow is described with a four year old boy killed after matches ignite clothing.
All items for the Enterprise left with A A Wheeler the correspondent will be thankfully received and promptly attended to Subscriptions also received for the same.
A popular Fitchburg excursion by rail to North Adams via Hoosac Tunnel departs from Marlboro to South Acton then North Adams on Oct 11 or 12 1891. Return trips depart North Adams at 3 55 pm with final stops at Maynard Rockybot tom Hudson and Marlboro, offering six miles of scenic Hoosac Valley Electric Road travel and a chance for a Hoosac Mountain view. Tickets are limited and go on sale after Oct 7 at local stations.
South Sudbury notes Mrs Betsey Rogers Hunt reached age 96 on September 24 as the town’s oldest resident. The community watches the new machine shop near completion and readying machinery transfer from the old building. William Young and family from Auburndale visited Sunday.
Rev Mr Campbell will preach in the chapel Sunday morning. Mr Burr the local boss spinner has secured work in Minnesota. Miss Edith Poole returned to North East on Friday. The Republicans have no use for a Lodge in wilderness they prefer him. What has become of the line gale.
