Concord Knights of Columbus Fall Outing Planned for Oct 6

At the Concord Council meeting Knights of Columbus 1887 approved a fall outing for Sunday October 6 at Stow Country Club. The event starts at 10 am with an all day program of sports and entertainment ending with a banquet. Over 100 members and guests are expected. Dr Charles H Dustin chairs.

Veterans Return to Cord High School For War Service Education

Concord High School reports 24 veterans, seniors or post graduates, rejoining studies with special privileges including flexible class times and a smoking room. Board of Trade Opens Season With Monday Meeting

Concord Board of Trade kicks off the season with a supper and business session on Monday October 7 at 6 30 pm in the Colonial Room of the Howard Johnson Restaurant West Concord. President Arthur J Diggan will lead the meeting followed by a program to be announced. The group will meet monthly through winter and elect officers at the December annual meeting.

Theresa Alexander elected president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the James J. and Post American Legion 158 at Concord. She succeeds T Finan with installation planned for Monday night in October assisted by Middlesex County Cadets. Concord Chorus Opens Rehearsals Next Tuesday

The Concord Chorus will begin rehearsals Tuesday evening October 8 at 45 o'clock in the Wells A Hall Memorial Auditorium Concord High School conducted by Mrs D Ripley Gage. The four works for the season are on sale at Concord Music Shop and at the High School prior to rehearsal. Visitors are welcome at the opening rehearsal.
