Clyde Bowen placed third for Concord with Stan Moszka Harold Hanson Gordon Olsen and Paul Emerson among the finishers.
The schedule lists Concord High football practice at Emerson Playground at 3 p m and cross country vs Revere at 3 p m. Middlesex School faces Brooks School at 3 p m on Saturday. Needham High travels to Needham for a 2 30 p m kickoff. Week-end golf at Concord Country Club. Recreation Commission meets Monday at Town House 7 30 p m.
Concord pundit lists last week’s upsets including Lowell over Peabody and Winchester falling to Swampscott. He posts current totals 225 of 320 and predicts several Saturday games with hoped for upsets to reach 200 points.

Priced at $1.00 it features 18 group photos 16 individual portraits and covers Concord Lexington Maynard Hudson Marlboro and other towns with lists of captains managers and vital statistics. Local shops and towns including Rexall Ferrari's West Concord South Acton News Co Town Shop Sanderson's Legard's Tom King's Maynard Bedford Stefanelli's Bedford News Store Snow's Pharmacy and others will stock the volume.
Concord area results show five teams winning, two draws. Concord High School has organized a large cheering section to travel to Needham on Saturday to root for the varsity football team. The cheerleaders listed include Eunice Kelley, Mary Theresa Finigan, Ann Foster, Marie Landini, Sally Ann Wright, Peggy McCarthy, Mary Fish, and Charlotte Hardy.
Joe Ross of Newton won the feature race in the Med xe Bowl auto events last Wednesday. Fran Megan of Concord Fan Met of Cad finished second and Ray Jannelle of Paweres finished third. The time was 6 21.28.
The Concord High School jayvee squad travels to Emerson playground to play a varsity level matchup on October 14 at 3. The game features Maynard as a standout junior and marks a key regional clash.
Concord Golf Associates held a day of golf at Andover Country Club to settle the Concord championship. Thomas F. Concord school band directed by Charles K. Yeremian delivers a strong performance at the Concord Stoneham game. New drum majorette Shirley Smart replaces Jacqueline Collicut, with fellow majorettes Carol Sreenan Phyllis Mullin Virginia Olsen Alice Zumwalt Natalie Jackson and Ruth Moran among the lineup drawn from local public schools.
