Car Upset During Snow Leaves Driver Unharmed
In Concord after 4 p.m. Saturday a car tipped over near 60 Bedford Street. James F. White, 66, Raleigh Street Arlington district superintendent of First National Stores, was unhurt aside from a dented hat. Patrolman Charles F. Boardman assisted Edwin F. Former Concord High School English teacher Gertrude H. Rideout received the Concord Rotary Club’s first Distinguished Community Service Award at a noon luncheon at Howard Johnsons. The 42 year veteran, who retired last June, was praised for enriching the town and her pupils through teaching and plays.
