Road Accident Near South Sudbury Wounds Bedford Man

A man who gave a Bedford name was struck by a car lantern on the state highway near William Hetley's residence. He suffered a broken nose and facial bruises, was treated by Dr. Oviatt, and taken to South Framingham hospital. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday as a Gaffey project nears completion.

Fire destroys barn and grain at Wright farm

A large barn and extensive hay and grain on C. A. Wright's southeast town lot were burned last Wednesday. The building measured 100 by 48 feet and was among the town’s largest. Cattle and horses were saved. adjacent house was spared. Cause unknown. Wright, a known progressive farmer, awaits rebuilding with neighbors' sympathy.
