The bride, a Cord High and Boston University graduate, wore white satin with a tulle veil. the groom is a civil engineer at Erie Railroad in Cleveland. Maynard ERA Projects Approved for Memorial Park Comfort Station and Garden
Two E R A projects approved by state BE R A authorize a 20 by 24 foot comfort station at Memorial Park and a community garden on American Powder Company land. The garden will employ 23 men and 15 women and produce valued at about 2 500 with 7 500 labor dollars and 800 material dollars from town funds. The project runs 21 weeks and requires state approval from Professor Cole. A local complaint committee will address employment concerns, while sidewalk and water main work faces temporary hold. Local welfare expenditures for May, March and April drop to four year lows as work resumes in mills and farms.
