Sudbury Fine Arts Festival Draws Week End Crowds
The Sudbury Fine Arts Festival jointly run by the School Department and the PTA drew large crowds May 19 and 20. Exhibits ranged from student artwork and crafts by Bantam Workshop to paintings, pottery, and illuminated manuscripts. A Saturday program featured music by school pupils and a Fashion Show by the Homemaking Department, while Sunday offered a choral concert and instrumental pieces by local students. The event aimed to boost general interest in arts and crafts and signals plans for a broader festival in coming years.
