On Friday at 3 o clock Hawthorne Chapter OES will hold a food sale at Adams and Bridges store. Home made cakes pies doughnuts and other delicacies will be on sale. Thomas Reilly has joined R J Rodday Co as clerk at the Commonwealth avenue store. Mr and Mrs P H Lanpher and son Robert of Somerville were guests Sunday of Mrs Thomas Connell.

Old Concord Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution held their annual meeting at the Chapter House. Officers for the coming year were elected including Regent Mary D. E.
