Lucius Hosmer Dies Suddeny in Jefferson New Hampshire
Lucius L. Hosmer a native of South Acton Massachusetts died suddenly at his Jefferson New Hampshire home on May 9. Born August 14 187% he studied at Boston Public Schools and the New England Conservatory of Music under George W Chadwick and composed The Rose of Alhambra. His works including Northern Southern and Scottish remain common in radio and he conducted at the Colonial Theatre Boston and led orchestras in New York St Augustine and other centers. He married Gertrude Giles in 1898 and is survived by her. burial was at Mount Hope West Acton.

School Nurse Reports April Visits and Examinations
