The Woman's Branch of Missions met Wednesday. Miss Julia S. Conant and others attended. Mrs. H. L. Packard left for Antrim to be with her ill father. A Catholic missionary supper and dance in town hall yielded $75. A massive fire scorched 271 acres across Littleton Acton and Westford, likely started by a passing engine near North Acton railway.
