Bedford Woman Passes Bar Exam and Will Be Admitted

Concord Junction March 7 Mrs Francis B Sayre daughter of Woodrow Wilson served as speaker for the West Concord Woman's Club. She urged interdependence and mutual understanding among nations and praised the League of Nations as a major force for world peace. Carol P. Flint of Braintree and Mrs Mahan performed songs. Stolen Car Found Deserted On Main Street
Maynard March 7. A Pierce Arrow roadster was found deserted on upper Main street Thursday by Chief of Police John Connors. The gas tank was empty and two overcoats with a blanket were in the car. An envelope in a coat pocket bore the name Patsy Vidtillo of East Boston. The car was reported stolen about 8:45 Wednesday night and was brought to J A Coughlin garage until claimed by Lewis Peters of West Medford.

Town Meeting in Maynard to consider paper mill bridge and land taking
Maynard notes fifteen warrant articles for the March 12 town meeting at Cooperative Hall. Sudbury Elects Aubrey Borden Selectman by Narrow Margin
Sudbury voters at a town meeting chose Aubrey W. Borden as selectman for one year over Thomas F. O’Neil by ten votes. The poll also approved salaries, funds, and road and fire measures while a single contest marked the election. The meeting approved a 61,508 budget and debated land purchase for a center school vicinity and clerical pay plans.

In Sudbury on Friday evening the Memorial church ladies hosted a big show with seventeen numbers. A skit written and staged by Rev EB C Whiting drew laughs as one of the hits. The Woman's Club series closed with a full Town Hall crowd and a lively magician act by the De Jens Magicians.

Fourteen boys from state wards arrive for Henry Ford's industrial school opening at the Colonial Mansion near the Wayside Inn. The 30 boys, 14 to 15 years old, will study academics and trades, with work, meals, and supervision modeled after home life. Wages will be paid, and training may continue at Detroit after four years.
