A new state of the art gymnasium at Middlesex School has been completed at a cost of 125000 dollars. The facility combines a gymnasium swimming pool and baseball cage with red brick curtain walls and a slate and glass roof.

Bedford Free Public Library Considers Move to Hartwell Property

The Bedford Free Public Library reports trust funds of 9027.93 dollars and 12 660 volumes with 12 422 circulations last year. Overcrowded rooms prompt a plan to relocate to the Lucy P. Hartwell property on Elm Street and use the current site for town offices. plans will be presented to the town soon.

Meeting of the W. C. T. U. at Mrs. Barnes Home

Members of the W C T U gathered at Mrs. Chester Barnes home for an afternoon meeting in March. Articles on the prohibition movement were read, plans for April meetings were discussed, and chocolates and cookies were served as attendees felt the time was profitable.

Bedford notes announce a March 12 lecture at 8 o clock by Wm Craig of Faulkner Farms Brookline on The Home and Vegetable Garden. The talk is expected to be well worth hearing as Craig is an expert and practical gardener. A large class of candidates is to be initiated at the first meeting in April.

Injured Hand at Hall Bros Co Mill

Mr Butler suffered a painful accident while working on a pail lathe at Hall Bros Co mill when a sharp wood splinter pierced his left hand. Workmate John Kempton helped pull it free with pliers. Butler saw Dr Tas e and will be off duty for several days.

Baptist Church to Host World Sunday School Leader

Frank L Brown joint general secretary of the World Sunday School convention, known traveler in the Orient, is expected to speak at the Baptist church Sunday morning. The evening meeting will cover The Gospel in Latim Land. Miss Helen Knowlton and Mildred Cyenethan will present talks on related topics. All invited.
