The Democratic caucus in Cooperative hall drew a calm crowd with 36 votes cast. No opposition arose among 16 nominees, including Charles H. Person for town clerk and John H. Murray for selectman, with James A. Cleary elected chairman.

In Middlesex District Court Judge Loomis presided Saturday morning over Joshua Edwards arraignment for keeping and exposing liquor at his Maynard business. he was fined $50.
