Fowler's store was broken into Monday night with a small amount of money taken by amateurs. Social items include visits, birthdays, and gatherings such as Mrs. George Whitney's 90th birthday, Miss Carrie Ring's Hyde Park visit, and a Maynard lodge ball. A fire at Fred B. Poors' stove and plumbing shop in the Arcade caused extensive damage, with confinement to the back area and unknown total loss.
