Sophia E Faulkner Campbell widow of Sir Francis Campbell dies at 83 in Newtonville after a long career linked to the Perkins Institute and the Royal Normal College London. She leaves three sons Charles Detroit Harry Brockton and Ralph Montreal. Funeral rites held June 21 at Congregational church with eulogy by Rev Arthur Beckett. Burial at Woodlawn beside her husband.

Ida M Usher of Maynard died at home Sunday after a long illness at age years. Born in An Nova Scotia she lived in Maynard 40 years. She leaves husband Thomas Usher two daughters Mrs Frank Wells of Wells Maine and Mrs de Broadbent six grandchildren and a great grandson. Friends filled the town to pay tribute as services were held at home conducted by Rev Mat Vance and Rev Mrs Red pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was in Glen Cemetery.

Keefe of Concord was found guilty in district court of leaving the scene of an accident and driving to endanger the public In the Superior court last Friday he was sentenced to six months in the House of Correction and fined 50 dollars. Otis M Whitney of the 182nd Infantry has been named an instructor at the Massachusetts National Guard Training School. He led the Cadet Battalion as Cadet Major and finished as honor cadet in the 1933 class, the third Concord resident to graduate. William Hagerty and John Hutchinson preceded him in 1929 and 1930.
