Voters are reminded of polling hours for the State Primaries on Tuesday June 18 from 12 noon to 7 30 PM. West Concord Precinct 2 voters vote at the Harvey Wheeler School and Precinct 1 voters cast ballots at the Veterans Building.
Rev. Michael Joseph Burke new pastor at St. Bernard's Church received a surprise testimonial from Concordians at Monument Hall last Wednesday evening honoring the 30th anniversary of his ordination. The event, noted as official, continued on page 4.
Concord citizens anticipate a massive patriotic event with the 93rd Infantry MSG marching in a two day celebration. Three battalions will be led by the 23rd Infantry Band under Col. John C. Dolan, with Knights of Columbus organizing and possibly naming a World War II veteran as parade marshal.
