Feast of St. Anthony Observed by Italian Communicants
In Maynard on June 13 the Feast of St. Anthony of Padua was observed with special ceremonies by Italian communicants of St. Bridget's church. St. Anthony crusaders led by John Tombend with Sons of Italy members and 100 women and girls marched to a shrine on the rectory lawn for a brief service. Rev. Guido Pallotta delivered a panegyric. all then returned to church for the 10 45 mass with a body of communicants.
