At the June 6 directors meeting of Concord National Bank Burleigh L. Pratt was elected president to succeed Fay Heywood. Pratt had served on the board since 1922 and as vice president since January. George G. Tarbell was appointed to the board to fill Heywood’s vacancy, Payson True was named vice president, succeeding Pratt and retaining cashier duties.
Elizabeth Connell was installed as Grand Regent of Our Lady Help of Christians Court Catholic Daughters of America in West Concord. Dorchester officers Ahna Moran and Edna Daley led the ceremony with other officers named including Grace McNally Mae Outus and Madeline Ryan.

They inspected the Antiquarian House gardens and those of Mrs Russell Robb, Mrs Stedman Buttrick Jr, and Miss Mary C Abbott on Sidbury Road, hosting clubs from Lincoln and other towns.
Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Andreasen of Main Street celebrated their twenty fifth wedding anniversary on a May evening. Family and friends attended including Mrs. Anna Sylvia of New Bedford, Andreasen’s sister, who helped at the original ceremony. The couple received many gifts and flowers during a pleasant evening.
Concord High School class of 1928 prepares a reunion at Nashoba Tavern East Acton next Wednesday. Dinner at 7 p m followed by a brief program and dancing from 9 to 7 a m. Class President George Johnson leads with Rudy Currier and Robert Tompkins assisting. Tickets from the trio. reservations due by Monday.

Enthusiasts from New England plan to attend the Concord Horse Show on Saturday June 11. Entries from as far as Springfield Massachusetts are received for what promises to be one of eastern Massachusetts’ largest all day horse shows. Gordon Mercer of Country Lane Riding School will enter at least four show horses. Judge assignments include T Fred Marsman of Greyholm Stables West Warwick RI for hunter judging and William K Baker of Providence RI to judge saddle and pony classes.

The annual Massie family reunion will be held on Sunday June 18 at Kingston Lake in New Hampshire. The gathering invites relatives to attend and share in the family event.
Concord honored two reform officers Alfred C Loring of West Concord and another retiree with 43 years in service. A vaudeville style program featured Kyle of the Federal Theatre Project under Tex Penites.
